Puumat Baseball in Helsinki, Finland

American Baseball has been played in Finland since 1980. Puumat is the oldest club and it has been established in 1981. Puumat was first called The Hawks (season 1981), the The Wranglers (season 1982) and finally Puumat since 1983.

Baseball season in Finland is from the beginning of May until late August. During the long off season there are practises in Pallomylly sports hall in Myllypuro, Helsinki. Baseball in Finland is a recreational sport, a hobby, so far no one gets paid. Even the coaches are volunteers. Players actually pay to get to play.

Baseball practises during summer take place in various locations. Use the contact form to contact us prior your first practise.

You are welcome to join us at practises!
